La Gioiosa repackages range

Veneto producer La Gioiosa reports a 17% year on year sales growth to become the Number 1 Italian Wine Brand in the UK Off Trade (AC Nielsen MAT 14.06.08).

La Gioiosa has the biggest selling white wine in Tesco with its Pinot Grigio, and has recently introduced brand new packaging to its wine range, which also includes a Pinot Grigio Blush and a Merlot.

Artisans in the production of sparkling wines, La Gioiosa have recently confirmed listings of a Prosecco Spumante and a Prosecco Raboso Ros with Thresher Group. In response to demand and in respect of the healthy lifestyle of the UK consumer, La Gioiosa has continued range development with a range of naturally lower in alcohol wines - the Pinot Grigio (9% ABV) will be available in Tesco from 4th August.

The increased popularity of Prosecco with the UK consumer and the demand for lower in alcohol wines will grow the brand even further in the next 12 months."

La Gioiosa is situated in the heart of Treviso, and is a leader in the production of Prosecco, managing 700ha of Prosecco vineyards in the Valdobbiadene region.
