Auchentoshan grows up

Published:  18 January, 2007

Auchentoshan, the only triple-distilled single malt Scotch whisky, has released an 18-year-old limited edition bottling.

A total of 4,800 bottles have been produced, and the whisky was matured in first- and second-fill oloroso Sherry butts.

Brand owner Morrison Bowmore Distillers describes the whisky as displaying a rich nuttiness, combined with a light infusion of citrus; perfectly complemented by a fresh, natural, herbal character'.

Auchentoshan's marketing manager Karen Murray says: This limited edition is a fantastic expression of Auchentoshan, and is a worthy addition to our premium range.'

A 70cl bottle of Auchentoshan 18 Year Old costs 64.99, and is available from specialist whisky retailers.
