Luxury tea company Benjamin & Blum has launched a range of bottled teas designed to pair with spirits.
The range has two expressions at launch, Darjeeling White Peony and Connoisseur's Oolong.
Darjeeling White Peony is described as fragrant and floral on the nose, with a crisp-apple finish. It is designed to complement Cognacs, Armagnacs and rich sherried whiskies and aged rums.
Connoisseur's Oolong is grown in New Zealand and cold brewed in the UK using Scottish spring water. It has a nose of hay, chocolate and roasted nuts and grains with a lingering honeyed finish and should complement most whiskies.
The company recommends serving in one-to-one balance with spirits.
The products can also be served on their own as non-alcoholic alternative to spirits.
Paul Benjamin, managing director of Benjamin & Blum, said: "Our products are not just to complement fine spirits; they can be enjoyed on their own as a refined non-alcoholic beverage. We want to offer something new and sophisticated for consumers who do not wish to drink alcohol, and the demand is rising for alcohol-free drinks with complexity and elegance."
The teas are hand-bottled in small batches and retail for £25.95 for a 200ml bottle.
