Trade and politics: Parallels between Brexit and the Trump presidency abounded this week. Harpers took a look at how Trump's influence on the dollar might affect trade with the US - although what our 'special realtionship' will look like under Trump and the impact of his pledge to re-negotiate trade deals with the UK and the rest of the world remains to be seen.

In the UK, Brexit minister David Jones began talks with the WSTA to discuss how to manage leaving the EU.

and the WSTA's chairman, Dan Jago, announced he was looking to grow WSTA membership and "unite the trade" ahead of Brexit.
