Ultra-premium Guatemalan rum brand, Ron Zacapa has launched its third annual limited edition blend, Reserva Limitada 2015.
The new variant has been blended from reserve rums aged between six and 24 years by master blender, Lorena Vasquez.
The rums are matured in oak casks previously used to store whisky, sherry and Pedro Ximénez before being aged for two years in re-charred barrels at 2,300 metres above sea-level.
All Zacapa rums are produced using the first pressing of sugar cane juice, rather than molasses.
Nick Temperley, head of Diageo Reserve Brands GB, said: "We're delighted with the launch of Ron Zacapa Reserva Limitada 2015, another truly exceptional blend. The incredible liquid, coupled with the luxurious packaging promotes stand out on shelf in both the on and off-trade as well as making a perfect gift.
"The brand's incredibly rich story, credentials and authenticity is at the heart of its popularity with consumers worldwide and the launch of a new, handcrafted edition reaffirms the personal care taken in producing every bottle of Ron Zacapa rum."
Ron Zacapa currently has a 53% market share of the fast-growing super-premium rum category.
Zacapa is owned by Rum Creation and Products, a joint venture between Diageo and Industrias Licoreras de Guatemala.
Ron Zacapa Reserva Limitada 2015 has an ABV of 45%.
It will shortly be available from a small range of premium bars across the UK.
A limited number of bottles will also be available through the off-trade, where it is expected to retail at around £82 for 70cl.
