Barefoot enjoys the parklife with summer push for Refresh wines

Gallo's Barefoot wine brand is to fire T-shirts at consumers from giant cannons as part of a summer marketing campaign.

The activity will target 100,000 consumers in parks and open spaces in London and other cities to promote its new lightly sparkling Barefoot Refresh wines.

Consumers will also be offered samples of the three wines in the range from chillers on branded trikes.

The campaign is supported by social media and includes a Summer Cool Down Party for 100 guests in east London on July 26.

Marketing director EMEA Olga Senkina said: "By targeting consumers in slightly different scenarios, like when they are relaxing with friends in the park, we will be expanding wine drinking occasions.

"Our new Barefoot Refresh wines provide a great alternative to beers, ciders and other traditional summer drinks on hot summer days."

Barefoot Refresh comes in Crisp White, Crisp Red and Perfectly Pink styles, with abvs of 9% or 10% and all with an rrp of £6.99.
