Leading research body Wine Intelligence has teamed up with the academic wine institute at Geisenheim University in Germany.
The partnership will see the two organisations work together to develop new intellectual capital from existing data and insights, it announced. As well as articles, seminars and publications, the two institutions will combine their expertise to develop joint-projects, including commercial projects, on the German, European and global wine industry.
Richard Halstead, COO of Wine Intelligence, said the company was proud to join forces with a prestigious academic institution. "I believe the combination of our respective datasets and intellectual capabilities will add significant value to our output, and we hope will benefit both clients and the industry as a whole in the long run," he said.
