Belaire Rosé Fantôme is the latest addition to the brand's black bottle line, and the wine, produced in the south of France's Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah.
The wine will be available from selected retailers for the price of £35, through UK distributor Cellar Trends.
Luc Belaire wine was created following the success of former stable mate, Armand de Brignac, or Ace of Spades, bought in November 2014 by music mogul Jay Z. Jay Z is said to have made Sovereign Brands an offer it simply "couldn't refuse". A standard bottle of the Champagne sells for around US$300, up to $200,000 for its limited edition 30-litre bottle.
Belaire has echoed the success of Ace of Spades, also finding favour within the music community. It has been endorsed (unofficially) by rapper Rick Ross, which has propelled it to fame over the last couple of years. It has even features in some of the star's music videos, and Ross has used it to mark public celebrations too. However, as with Ace of Spades, there is no confirmed financial link between the wine and the music star.
On the Armand de Brignac sale, a spokeswoman for Armand de Brignac said: "Obviously we are very proud of what we've built, which is an iconic, credible, high-end Champagne in less than eight years. We've had a fantastic relationship with Jay Z throughout the years since he first discovered the brand, he became interested in ownership and ultimately made us an offer we couldn't refuse."
Armand de Brignac's reputation was buoyed not only through its links to Jay Z, but to a host of prominent sporting figures, such as Boston Red Sox David Ortiz, who celebrated baseball's World Series win with a 15-litre bottle of the Champagne.
