How was 2014 for you/your business?

Great. New wine bar exceeded all expectations.

What do you think were the most significant things that happened/ issues/trends that occurred in 2014?

  • LWF returning to Olympia was a great move.
  • Return of Cahors
  • Greater interest in high quality Australia
  • Duty escalator scrapped

What opportunities are you most looking forward to working on in 2015?

  • Building closer relations with other independents and lobby for duty freeze
  • Building our craft beer and boutique distillery business
  • A decent Bordeaux vintage?

What are the biggest challenges facing the trade in 2015?

Keeping wine relevant and exciting

Who are the people/companies/retailers to watch in 2015?

Very interested to encourage investment in the independent sector so excited to see what happens with Philglas and Swiggot.

What are you doing for Christmas and New Year?

 Chillin' with the family.

What will be your favourite tipple over Christmas and New Year?

Champagne Joseph Perrier, and many other gorgeous wines

Favourite Christmas film?

It's a wonderful life

Ideal day out over Christmas period?

Ice Skating in the Fens (If it's cold enough)

New Year's resolution?

More cycling. Get fitter. Have fun.
