Published:  06 August, 2014

Bloom gin is expanding its range of upmarket ready-to-serve drinks with its gin and rose lemonade - presented in an old-fashioned glass bottle.

Bloom launched a gin and tonic in 2012, which has enjoyed success in the on and off-trades.

BloomBloom Gin has an upmarket option for the RTD sectorBloom, which already has a premixed gin and tonic option on the market, has just launched a gin and rose lemonade offering- served in an old fashioned glass bottle.

Bloom gin owner, Quintessential Brands, has worked with soft drink producer Fentiman's to create this new offering. The brand says that Fentiman's rose lemonade complements the gin's floral style, given it's distilled with honeysuckle and chamomile. The lemonade is made with real lemons and 100% natural, pure rose otto oil from Bulgaria's Rose Valley.

Bloom's international brand manager Kate Harrison, said: "Due to the encouraging sales of Bloom Gin & Fentiman's Tonic, we were delighted to be working with Fentiman's again to launch this unusual yet appealing variety, BLOOM Gin & Rose Lemonade.  We have found that our delicate and floral gin appeals to female drinkers and feel sure that this new variety will be a popular purchase for summer picnics, parties or just keeping in the fridge at home."

Bloom London Dry Gin is created by Master Distiller Joanne Moore, and inspired by her English country garden.

Bloom Gin & Rose Lemonade, rrp £3.00, is available at Waitrose. Its London Dry Gin, rrp £24, is sold through Waitrose, Sainsbury's and Spirited Wines among others.
