Stevens Garnier makes two appointments

Published:  03 September, 2013

UK wine agency Stevens Garnier has appointed two new senior national account managers.

The news comes following Stevens Garnier's recent appointment as the UK agent for Mateus from Portugal and Evans & Tate/Mount Pleasant from Australia.

Mike Biltcliffe, who was previously a key sales manager at Lanson Champagne and Pernod Ricard UK, takes on the new role of off-trade sales director and will be responsible for the Tesco and Sainsbury's accounts.

The other new role of national account manager, managing Stevens Garnier's business with Asda, Morrisons and The Co-op goes to Paul Wanless, who has held senior sales roles at Treasury Wine Estates and E&J Gallo. Biltcliffe and Wanless join the Stevens Garnier team with immediate effect.

Managing director Matt Douglas said: "We are delighted to welcome to our team two individuals who bring with them a wealth of relevant experience, combining a track record in FMCG sales with excellent wine knowledge."
