The sixth EWBC Digital Wine Communications Conference is to take place in Logroño, Spain, from October 25-27.
The theme of the 2013 conference is 'Flavour', and the aim is to reflect the diversity of the world of wine.
EWBC co-founder Gabriella Opaz said: "With an ever-growing number of wines and wine-producing regions coming to the fore, it becomes increasingly important for wine communicators to recognise and embrace diversity in all its forms.
"During the 2013 EWBC, we want to encourage delegates to consider the value of 'interpretation', whether in wine production, analysis or communication. This diversity is what adds unique flavour to the world of wine, especially online."
Confirmed speakers for the event include Julia Harding MW, Dr. José Vouillamoz, Doug Frost MS MW, Tim Hanni MW, Robert Joseph and Jesús Barquín.
Harpers will be the official media partner for the event, following our link up with the EWBC in 2012.
The 2013 conference is sponsored be the Consejo Regulador de la Denominación de Origen Calificada Rioja, and organised by Ryan and Gabriella Opaz and Robert McIntosh of social media company Vrazon in partnership with Catavino.net - a site dedicated to Iberian food and wine culture.
