Campo Viejo teams up with Grand Designs

Published:  04 September, 2012

Campo Viejo has teamed up with Grand Designs to offer consumers the chance to win £25,000 to make their own dream home project a reality.

The in-store initiative is part of its Live Uncorked platform and will feature across 800,000 bottles of the brand's Tempranillo and Reserva wines, throughout multiple grocers and impulse channels.

Open until February 28, 2013, the mechanic will feature on a dedicated neck collar, where consumers will be directed to campoviejowines.co.uk to enter their unique code and find out if they have won.

One winner will be offered help to design, develop and project manage their own Grand Design, whether interior or exterior, furnishings or furniture. The promotion will also give away 2,500 sets of four colourful and iconic Pantone mugs as runner-up prizes.

The campaign will be supported in-store at point-of-sale with banners on retailer websites and through retailer ECRM channels. It will include a dedicated Facebook page that includes articles and Q&As with popular presenters and design architects Kevin McCloud, George Clarke and Charlie Luxton.

Lucy Bearman, head of marketing for wine at Pernod Ricard UK, said: "Our last on-pack promotion offering 10 winners £10,000 to 'colour their kitchen' was incredibly successful and saw our highest ever number of entries. Following on from that success, this new promotion brings to life the vibrancy and expressiveness our consumers have come to know and expect from Campo Viejo, and we're thrilled to be working with Grand Designs to make design and the arts even more accessible to them."
