Usain Bolt London restaurant to offer 150 rums and dedicated rum bar

Published:  25 September, 2018

Usain Bolt’s restaurant, Tracks & Records, which is set to open in London next month, will boast over 150 rums – 100 of which are Jamaican.

The first UK venue for the concept, near Liverpool Street, offers an authentic Jamaican experience with a dedicated rum bar.

The bar features a “carefully curated”, extensive collection of over 150 global rums, of which 100 are Jamaican. The menu also offers a range of signature cocktails including traditional favourites and a new range all exclusively created for London.

This is the UK’s first Tracks & Records restaurant, with three others in Kingston, Ocho Rios and Montego Bay, founded by the Kingston Live Entertainment (KLE) Group.

The restaurant will feature Usain Bolt sports memorabilia and diners can enjoy his favourite dishes such as jerk chicken and pork and fried fish and bammy.

The restaurant is split across two floors with a downstairs that boasts a bar, dancefloor and club where reggae music and live DJs play.

Bolt said: “London is my second home and a place very close to my heart - so it’s brilliant to be sharing a taste of Jamaica in the capital.”

Gary Matalon of KLE Group, said: “After much success with our Track & Records restaurants, we’re delighted to be opening in the UK.

“Our new location, in the heart of the capital, is the perfect spot for friends to get together and embrace Jamaican culture by enjoying traditional flavours, while dancing the night away.”

The venue, which opens on Wednesday, 10th October, is open from 11am until midnight Monday to Wednesday, until 1am Thursday to Saturday and from 10am to 9.30pm on Sunday, from the 10th October 2018.
