Bols adds Pineapple Chipotle and makes a Date liqueur

Published:  18 September, 2015

Bols is introducing two new products to its cocktail-making liqueurs range in response to trends in global markets.

Bols Date is inspired by trends in the Middle East while Pineapple Chipotle takes its cue from bartenders in Canada and the US.

Date is recommended for mixing with aged spirits and Pineapple Chipotle for making Caesars, Martinis and Margaritas.

Bols is also bringing its Blackberry liqueur back to the market by popular demand.

The launches come as the brand prepares to host its global bartending competition Bols Around the World in Amsterdam.

Josh Powell of Somerset House in Bristol will represent the UK.

Bols has also this year launched Bols Business Class, a programme to help bar owners and managers share experiences through conferences featuring talks and one-to-one coaching sessions.

Chief executive officer Huub van Doorne said: "This is a truly revolutionary year for Bols as we embark on the next phase of Bols Around The World and engage with bartenders in new and different ways.

"Bols Around The World has taken an inspiring twist as we change the competition by encouraging bartenders to share their personal experiences and skills.

"In addition, we are concentrating more on education with Bols Business Class, which connects bar owners and managers, allowing them to gain insight from their peers on best practice that will ultimately help them grow their business."
