Published:  30 November, 2010

St-Germain elderflower liqueur has joined forces with the Park Lane Hotel, Piccadilly to create a festive afternoon tea.

Executive head chef Andrew Bennett MBE has created the menu which is served throughout December in the Palm Court and includes a cocktail of St-Germain, fresh pear, apple and vodka.

A selection of seasonal sandwiches and savouries follow, that include; smoked turkey and cranberry, honey-baked ham and piccalilli, egg mayonnaise with baby rocket, warm tartlet of smoked haddock with soft quail egg and hollandaise and milk roll with confit salmon and dill mayonnaise.

Next, towers of homemade scones are complemented by jams with clotted cream and a selection of warm, desserts.

St-Germain is a French elderflower liqueur made from 100% fresh, handpicked elderflowers from the foothills of the French Alps.

The St-Germain Festive Afternoon Tea at the Park Lane Hotel will be served throughout December 2010 www.palmcourtlondon.co.uk.
