Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve has been voted the 'Best Irish Blended Whisky' at the 2009, World Whiskey Awards.

Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve has been voted the 'Best Irish Blended Whisky' at the 2009, World Whiskey Awards.


Since its release in 2007 Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve which is owned by Pernod Ricard has received several awards including Irish whiskey of the year in the 2009 Whiskey Bible, Irish Whisky of the year at the 2008 Malt Advocate Awards.


It was also voted 'Top Irish Whiskey' and awarded double gold at the 2008, San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

This year's competition saw more than 150 whiskies put through their paces during three rounds of tastings to win titles of "Best in the World".


The judging panel included respected whiskey critics Dave Broom, Dominic Roskrow and Martine Nouet.


Jameson is the world's No 1 selling Irish whiskey and a top 10 global whiskey brand.
