Corona Extra is to sponsor a major national festival showcasing up and coming film makers in the UK.

The 'exposures' new-talent film festival, which takes place from November 23 to 27, joins a series of arts and lifestyle-based sponsorships by the beer, which is sold, marketed and distributed by Bedford-based Wells and Young's Brewing Company.

Most recently it annouced a sponsorship deal with clubbing brand Ministry of Sound.

The deal also builds on exposure created by Corona Extra's first ever £1 million national advertising campaign which launched in the UK this summer.

Chris Lewis, director of marketing at Wells and Young's, said: "Corona Extra supports a number of high quality arts and lifestyle events that reflect the image and popularity of the brand amongst consumers. It is, therefore, appropriate that the brand should be supporting and helping to foster talented film-makers, who may be dominating the big screen in the future."
