BOOKER'S SALE OR RETURN ON 300 LINES
Booker Cash & Carry is offering sale or return on more than 300 lines from its 200-strong Malt House Vintners' wines and spirits range. Customers must return goods un-opened and undamaged to their local depot with the invoice, between 4-19 January. The cash and carry group has also launched the 10th Booker Prize for Excellence, which will culminate in an awards ceremony on 30 April at the Park Lane Hilton, London. Nominations are sought for: Best Retailer, Best Off-licence, Best Large and Best Small Convenience Store, Best Forecourt Shop, Best Young Retail Businessperson and Best Local Store. Entry forms are available from Booker branches and on 0121 776 7788. The closing date is 24 January. Category winners receive a 1,000 cheque and the overall winners of best retailer and best caterer win an additional 5,000. All the winners and their partners will enjoy a personal study tour of a European city in June, courtesy of Booker.
