FMV adds Rafael Palacios to its Spanish portfolio
Field, Morris & Verdin (FMV), the in-house UK trade arm of Berry Bros & Rudd (BB&R), has signed a deal as the exclusive UK distributor of Galician producer Rafael Palacios.
As part of the deal FMV, which already represents Palacios’ brother - Álvaro Palacios, has taken on the winery’s 2017 Louro de Bolo Godello and 2016 As Sortes Val do Bibei wines.
The duo, available now, is also available to private customers through BB&R’s retail channels.
Catriona Felstead MW, wine buyer for Spain at BB&R, said: “We are delighted Rafael is joining our portfolio of already exemplary producers. His vision and passion for the vines and wines of this far-flung corner of the North West of Spain has driven many to emulate him. He is a truly inspirational winemaker.”
Last month, BB&R announced the appointment of Joe Fattorini as head of FMV London sales. Taking on his new role Monday 18 June, Fattorini takes over from predecessor Andrew Higgs.
