Electric Bear Brewery has secured a listing with a nationwide hamburger joint, marking further penetration of craft beer into the on-trade.

The Bath-based brewer will see two of its core range of craft beers stocked in 27 Handmade Burger Co. restaurants across the UK.

Edison, a British Pilsner and Livewire IPA will feature on the drinks list alongside regular seasonal rotating guest beers such as Elemental, a 4.4% crystal rye, IPA and Split Milk - the brewery's signature milk stout.

Chris Lewis, founder of Electric Bear, said: "We've only just celebrated our first birthday and if someone had told me this time last year that we would see our beers behind the bar at Handmade Burger Co. I wouldn't have believed it.

"It's a crowded market for craft breweries at the moment so it's great to see the quality of our beer has been recognised by such well known restaurant group and that our passion and hard work is paying off."

Handmade Burger Co. has recently opened a new restaurant in Bath city centre which will take stock of Electric Bear beers.

Chris Sargeant of Handmade Burger Co. said: "We spend a lot of time sourcing the best local products and ingredients for our restaurants and Electric Bear is the perfect craft beer to serve alongside our burgers."
