Published:  12 January, 2016

Enotria has appointed two new members to its leadership team, both from Coe Vintners.

Matt Davies joins as commercial director for the on trade and Mike Beavan as marketing director.

Premium wine distributor Enotria acquired competitor Coe Vintners for an undisclosed sum last August.

Davies and Beavan have both been working closely with Enotria on both strategic planning and the successful integration of the two businesses in the latter months of 2015.

Troy Christensen, chief executive of Enotria, said: "This is an exciting time for the business, and these two appointments provide us with an unrivalled level of industry experience, knowledge and insight that will allow us to develop market-leading premium drinks solutions for our customers.

"Both Matt and Mike bring with them a huge amount of knowledge, product passion and energy, which will further strengthen the future of the combined business.

"We understand what is required to be the UK's pre-eminent premium distributor and we have a great opportunity to grow the premium wine and spirits market in 2016.

"FY15 was very productive, not only acquiring Coe Vintners but also moving into our new state-of-the-art warehouse and implementing new systems.

"We are hugely enthusiastic about 2016, when we can bring the industry's best portfolio, supply chain and systems to the benefit of our customers and consumers."

The company expanded into an 80,000 sq ft warehouse space in London's Park Royal last year.
