Mouton Cadet extends Ryder Cup partnership to Hazeltine in 2016

Published:  01 October, 2015

Mouton Cadet has been named as the official wine of golf's 2016 Ryder Cup.

The Bordeaux brand, produced by Baron Philippe de Rothschild, had the same status at last year's Ryder Cup at Gleneagles in Scotland and will do again at the 2018 event in France.

Hugues Lechanoine, managing director of Baron Philippe de Rothschild (pictured left with Jeff Price, chief commercial officer of the Professional Golfers' Association of America), said: "With this fantastic expansion into the US, this partnership is now firmly implanted on both sides of the Atlantic."

Price added: "The PGA of America is honoured to partner with Mouton Cadet. The passion that people have for the Ryder Cup and wine are strikingly similar, both in the US and Europe. It's those passions that keep them coming back again and again."

The 2016 Ryder Cup will be played the Hazeltine club in Chaska, Minnesota, from September 27-October 2.
