The quietest bar on earth and a sonic cucumber bath will support Hendrick's gin at Edinburgh Fringe

Published:  17 July, 2015

Hendrick's gin will be exploring the world of cocktails and sound in its activity at this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August.

Five experiences are being packaged up in the Hendrick's Emporium of Sensorial Submersion, including what is billed as "the quietest bar on earth", amplified cocktails that you can hear and a sonic cucumber bath, a reference to one of the botanicals that gives the William Grant-owned gin its USP.

The emporium will be 91 George Street in the city from August 7-30.

Sam Bovill, senior brand manager, said: "With a host of intriguing experiences and a menu of incredible Hendrick's gin cocktails, the Hendrick's emporium of Sensorial Submersion is set to be the venue of choice for thirst-quenching, mind-tingling entertainment."

Tickets for the full package cost £24 from edfringe.com. The venue box office will be selling tickets for one element of the package for £8.

There will also be a Hendrick's Cacophony bar with free admission serving cocktails form £6.
