Published:  29 April, 2014

Danish restaurant Noma has reclaimed the title of World's Best Restaurant, pipping last year's winner, Spain's El Celler de Can Roca, into the top spot.

The winners of the World's 50 Best Restaurant Awards 2014, sponsored by San Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, were announced at a glamorous ceremony at London's Guildhall last night.

Judges said that Redzepi's "meticulous attention to detail, innovative approach to foraging and experimentation to fermentation" put the restaurant back on top this year.

El Celler de Can Roca moved into second place, with Jordi Roca winning the award for the World's Best Pastry Chef.
