Benevolent joins forces with London Wine Fair to host party

Published:  13 February, 2014

Drinks industry charity the Benevolent has teamed up with London Wine Fair to hold the fair's closing party this year.

The event will take place at Kensington Roof Gardens on Wednesday June 4, a short distance from the fair's new venue at Kensington Olympia.

The party kicks off at 7pm and is scheduled to run until 1am, unless some party-loving soul bids to keep it going for another two hours on the night.

The Roof Garden Benevolent party will have capacity for 500 members of the industry and tickets will cost just £45 to ensure a broad cross-section of trade can attend.  Entertainment will include a barbecue, disco, a selection of premium wines, beers and spirits, as well as a few surprises during the course of the evening. All proceeds will go towards helping vulnerable members of the trade facing medical or financial hardship.

Benevolent chief executive David Cox said: "So many members of our trade love to party and we believe The RGB Party will become 'the talk of the town'. You will just have to be there".

There are a number of sponsorship opportunities for wineries and brand owners wishing to supply the RGB Party, and the organisers are looking for small volume, quality-driven white, rosé, red and sparkling wines as well as a beer and spirits supplier. Companies interested should contact Helen Chesshire   For further information about the event and to buy tickets, please visit the Benevolent website or email Eleanor Perry.
