Bottle Green appointed agent for Casa Silva's Doña Dominga

Published:  19 August, 2013

Chilean wine producer Casa Silva has appointed Bottle Green as the new agent for its wine brand Doña Dominga in the UK.

Mario Pablo Silva, managing director at Casa Silva, created Doña Dominga, named after his eldest daughter, in response to demand from national retailers. These fruit-forward, accessible wines were created in order to entice consumers to discover the new Chile.

Silva said: "We are really looking forward to working closely with Bottle Green in developing the Doña Dominga brand in the UK. We need to work with an agent who is as passionate about Chile as us because at Casa Silva we are not just committed to producing the best quality wines possible, but also to revolutionising the wine industry in Chile through pioneering new regions and viticultural practices. I believe that this new partnership with help us to communicate about the 'New Chile' to the UK market place."

Bottle Green's wines account for almost one in 30 of all bottles bought by off-trade consumers. The company has a supply focus on France, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Chile, Germany and Australia.

The Casa Silva portfolio will continue to be imported by Jackson Nugent Vintners.
