Invivo partners Drake & Morgan in New Year lower calorie drinks promo

Kiwi winery Invivo is partnering with London bar group, Drake & Morgan to promote its lower calorie Bella by Invivo, as part of the bar's "skinny cocktail menu".

The January promotion which aims to target consumers making healthier lifestyle choices, will encourage customers to try Bella by Invivo 2011 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc which has 9.5 % alcohol and 30% fewer calories.

Drake & Morgan, a group of contemporary restaurants and bars includes the refinery in Bankside, the parlour in Canary Wharf, The Anthologist and The Folly in the City and the drift on Bishopsgate, offers a "skinny cocktail menu" with a choice of cocktails at 100 calories each.

Bella by Invivo Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc contains 108 calories per 175ml glass

Co founder and Invivo marketing director Tim Lightbourne, says:  "The promotion with Drake & Morgan is an ideal partnership for Invivo as the group's skinny drinks menu works well with the Bella concept.

"The wine has received positive feedback and interest since we launched the first vintage in 2010.

"We have created a wine that does not compromise on taste but is lower in alcohol, resulting fewer calories".

Lightbourne adds: "The first 2010 vintage sold out in just a few months, so we know there is definitely demand"
