Santa Rita launches autumn promo campaign with Ireland's RTÉ

Chilean wine company Santa Rita Estates has unveiled their autumn 2016 promotional campaign for their brands in the Republic of Ireland which will see them once again team up with Irish national TV broadcaster RTÉ.

Chilean wine company Santa Rita Estates (SRE) has unveiled their autumn 2016 promotional campaign for their brands in the Republic of Ireland, which will see them once again team up with Irish national TV broadcaster RTÉ.

During the campaign, the Santa Rita 120 brand will partner with a number of popular prime time quality dramas in Ireland, where it is the top selling wine brand in the off-trade.

Living La Vida 120 will showcase Santa Rita 120 in autumnal environments in conjunction with an international marketing campaign throughout Asia, Europe and North America.

This continues an ongoing partnership between the winery and the broadcaster, with Sants Rita's drama sponsorship set to include the final season of American legal drama The Good Wife, a fifth season of political thriller Homeland, a new four-part drama series set in Dublin named Striking Out along with British-American mini-series The Night Manager.

"As the number one selling wine in both the on- and off-trade in Ireland for the second year running, it is hugely important for Santa Rita to maintain brand awareness and continue to connect with its target audience," export director for SRE Europe, Terry Pennington said.

"RTÉ provides a successful and highly effective platform from which to communicate directly with our customers. This alliance reinforces our commitment to continuing to invest in quality brand partnerships."

SRE comprises three key wine brands: Santa Rita and Carmen from Chile and Doña Paula from Argentina.

According to the company, SRE are Chile's second largest premium wine exporter in terms of sales by value and currently own over 2,900 hectares of vines in Chile and more than 700 hectares in Argentina.

Dona Paula is the largest brand from Argentina sold in the Republic of Ireland's off-trade, with approximately 28% value share of the Argentine market.

Santa Rita 120 / Gran Hacienda is the top selling premium wine brand in the on-trade in Ireland and the UK.
