Published:  12 September, 2016

A taste of all things Chile returns to London tomorrow (Tuesday, September 12) this time at The Old Truman Brewery.

Over 50 wineries will be flying in from Chile to present their latest offerings to the trade at the Mercado Chileno event from 10am to 8pm.

The annual tasting from Wines of Chile is the largest gathering of Chilean wine producers in the Northern hemisphere, with 400 wines available to taste.

Visitors can use Wine Journey ahead of the tasting tomorrow to research the wines and wineries at www.mercadochileno.co.uk/trade.

The International Wine & Spirit Competition will be announcing the winners in their Chile category at the event, celebrating the best of what Chile has to offer.

Supported by British Airways, the event will feature a pisco bar, with food from Chilean-born Francsico Hernandez who is currently the executive sous at The Savoy Hotel.

For the second year in a row, the doors will be open to the public from 5.30pm to 8pm.

Mercado Chileno is coming to the The Old Truman Brewery, Ely's Yard by 17, Hanbury Street, London, E1 6QR.
