Justerini & Brooks trade tasting announced

Published:  22 February, 2016

Fine wine merchant Justerini & Brooks is to hold its annual portfolio tasting on Wednesday, February 24.

Visitors will be able to sample a wide range of wines from portfolio, as well as meet the winemakers behind two recent J&B signings, Jean Boucabeille from Domaine Boucabeille in Roussillon and James King from boutique Ventoux winery Château Unang.

There will also be the opportunity to taste the 2003 to 2010 vintages of Château Grand Village and an array of Côte Rôtie wines from Clusel Roch, Michel and Stéphane Ogier and René Rostaing.

The event will also feature vintage comparisons and a blind tasting competition.

J&B is best known for its selection of premium wines from the Bordeaux, Burgundy, the Rhône, the Loire and Champagne regions.

Justerini & Brooks was founded in 1749.

It is currently one of the last wine businesses still owned by Diageo, after the global drinks giant sold the bulk of its wine holdings to Treasury Wine Estates last year.

The trade tasting will take place at 41 Portland Place in London.
