Free Run Wines returns to NZ tasting with Selaks Winery

Marlborough-based off-trade supplier Free Run Wines will be exhibiting four wines from New Zealand winery Selaks Wines at the New Zealand Wine Annual Trade Tasting in London on Monday.

The team will be presenting the lastest vintages, two reds and two whites, from each of Selaks' ranges alongside Constellation Brands.

The Selaks Reserve Hawke's Bay Merlot Cabernet 2013 was sold exclusively to Majestic last year, and the 2014, which will be exhibited at the tasting, is from another excellent vintage.

Selaks' premium range of small parcel wines will be represented by the Selaks Founders Central Otago Pinot Noir 2014, while the 2015 vintage whites exhibited at the tasting will be the Selaks Premium Selection Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and the lower alcohol Selaks Breeze Sauvignon Blanc 2015, which has an abv of 9%.

The New Zealand Wine Annual Trade Tasting, will be held at the Lindley Hall, Royal Horticultural Halls on Monday January 18, t from 11:00am to 5:30pm.

Free Run Wines will be on table number 5.

Selaks Wines is one of New Zealand's oldest wine producers. Founded by Croatian native Marino Selak in 1934, it celebrated its 80th year of production in 2014.

Free Run Wines was established in 2001 by industry veterans Charles Elms and Nicholas Bauer.

It now partners will 11 wineries worldwide and includes leading supermarkets, wholesalers, and specialist retailers among its customers.
