Harpers Awards 2015 promises to roll out red carpet for best in UK wine and spirits

Published:  26 January, 2015

Awards season is well and truly amongst us with seemingly not a day going by without a red carpet being rolled out for the great, good and glamorous. Harpers is giving you the chance to shine in your own industry with this year's entry process for the Harpers Awards well and truly under way.

Once again the awards are split in to three main areas - Top Merchants, At Your Service On-trade awards, and the overall Industry awards - meaning the top names across the UK on and off-trades and supplier base will all be present when the awards are handed out on May 18 at a new awards venue, London's Park Plaza in Victoria where the Harpers red carpet will await the finalists.

To enter simply go to the dedicated awards site, Harpers Awards 2015 and make sure you stand a chance of being there where it matters by entering yourself or your business in to the awards.

The on-trade categories will be judged by the Harpers On-trade Academy made up of leading on-trade experts, consultants, journalists, sommeliers, distributors and restaurateurs who will be asked to name those outlets and individuals they think are doing the most to raise standards in British hospitality.

The independent merchant and main industry awards are for self-nomination only and will be judged by separate industry panels made up of appropriate experts and trade figures relevant to that awards category.

There is a new award this year to recognise achievements within the regional wholesale industy.

Harpers will also name its own Special Achievement award to the individual it thinks has done the most to represent the UK wine and spirits industry in the last year.

Harpers Awards 2015

The judging process covers the year from February 2014 to February 2015 and anyone interested in entering the awards is urged to read each category's criteria carefully as points out of 10 will be given by our judges to each category. Hence if you choose or fail to answer a specific criteria your chances of success will be limited.
