Kingsland goes on the road to Edinburgh and Manchester to showcase its new wine range

Kingsland is to host two trade tastings in Edinburgh and Manchester later this month to showcase its range of wines, brands and the growing number of producers it is working with.

The tastings are specifically targeted at local independents, regional wholesalers and the on-trade and will take place in Edinburgh on January 19 and Manchester on January 21.

It will provide an opportunity for Kingsland to demonstrate how it is changing from a contract packing business to a wine supplier and distributor in its own right.

Andy Sagar, Kingsland's managing director, said: "People should come and see what the Kingsland of today is all about. We're extremely proud of our extensive wine portfolio, and we've worked hard over the last couple of years to ensure there's something in there for everyone."

The tasting will feature over 200 wines and promise to cover the main price points  for the on and off-trades.

It will specifically showcase its wines from Argentina, Australia, South Africa, Spain, New Zealand, and Italy.

Producers represented at the tastings include Pascual Toso, Argentina, McWilliams, Nugan Estate and Limestone Coast Winery from Australia, Shorn and Marisco Vineyards in New Zealan, Sensi from Italy and Tinto Tinto Figuero and Adegas Galegas in Spain. Its French portfolio includes Jean Claude Mas (Languedoc Roussillon),  Domaine Duseigneur (Rhône Valley) and Fournier Pére et Fils (Loire Valley).

The tastings will take place at The Merchants Hall, Edinburgh on January 19 and Bridgewater Hall, Manchester on January 21. To register contact Jo.Taylorson@kingsland-drinks.com
