Put your football knowledge to the test in the new Benevolent Fantasy Football League

Published:  01 August, 2014

So do you think your football? Your Christmas Tree formation over your 4-4-2? Know what "running between the lines" actually means? Well why not put those skills to the test and take part in the new Benevolent Fantasy Football League - oh and raise some money for the drinks charity along the way.

The Benevolent has teamed up with Treasury Wine Estates to run its very own Fantasy Football league on the famous national website used by hundreds of thousands of football fans around the county.

To take part all you have to do is register yourself on the Fantasy Premier League website. Once registered, create your own squad of 15 members, then join The Benevolent private league following: Leagues/Join a League/Private League and enter using the special Benevolent code 554313-141794.

To reigister a team on the site is free, but the Benevolent urges you to make a separate £5 donation to the charity. Please donate your £5 at the Benevolent Fantasy Football League JustGiving Page.

If you are knew to the game then remember goals mean points, and that mean either for or against your depending on who is doing the scoring. For more information on the rules please visit the Fantasy Premier League site.

There will be great prizes awarded for the winning team after each quarter of the season and for the overall winner donated by Treasury Wine Estates.

Remember all the action for the new Premier League season kicks off on August 16 so make sure you register your team by 11am that morning.
