So who has caught your eye in the World Cup? Robben, Muller, Sterling, Pirlo? After wathcing the first round of games across all groups, who do you think has the best chance of winning?
Well why not have a go at our Harpers World Cup Predictathon and show your peers in the trade how much you really know about the beautiful game.

We are giving you chance to win a mixed case of Franciacorta premium Italian sparkling wine by giving us your World Cup predictions. We are even giving you until Friday to get your predictions in when you should have a fair idea of who is likely to be going through to the final 16 after the initial group stage of the tournament.

The overall winner with most 'prediction' points at the end of the World Cup will win the mixed case of Franciacorta wine. There will also be some fun prizers for the top three runners up. Should there be a tie of 'prediction' points, the winners names will be put in a hat and drawn at random.

All you have to do is to fill in the following questions and email them into Harpers World Cup Predictathonby the end of Friday June 20, 2014.

  • Name:
  • Company:

  1. Who is going to win the World Cup? (10 points)
  2. Which countries will make the semi-finals? (1 point for each correct answer)
  3. Top goal scorer (4 points)
  4. How far will England go? (2 points)
  5. Number of red cards in the tournament? (3 points for exact answer, 1 point if prediction is within two of the correct answer)

Only one submission per person is allowed.

You can also, if you like, share your best World Cup memories with the rest of the trade.

The most interesting answers will appear on Harpers.co.uk and in the magazine.
