Santa Teresa rum branded cocktail bar opens in London
Mangrove has teamed up with London Venezuelan food specialist Arepa & Co to open a Santa Teresa rum branded cocktail bar in Shoreditch.
The bar, which is located in Haggerston, will see a selection of Venezuelan light bites - including arepas (cornbreads) and pasapalos (nibbles) - served alongside traditional Venezuelan cocktails, known as Guarapitas, and Santa Teresa Mojitos. A selection of arepas will be individually matched with different cocktails.
Nick Gillett, commercial director for the spirits and liqueurs specialist agency, said: "Arepa & Co has already made waves in London at their café in Camden Market and we're delighted to be working with them. We fully expect this partnership to raise not only the profile of the new Arepa & Co café bar but also the full range of premium Santa Teresa rums and help to build excitement around Venezuelan culture and lifestyle as the next big thing in the UK."
