ProWein has announced that six months before the 2014 international wine fair is due to take place that the event has already sold out.

The vast majority of exhibitors from the 2013 show are said to have rebooked for Prowein 2014, many with larger stands. Suppliers from up to 50 countries will be present at the 20th anniversary of the show which is due to take place in Düsseldorf, Germany from March 23-25

Additionally, ProWein has announced it will be moving halls beginning in 2015.  The event currently spans halls 1-7.1, but will be moving to 9-17 in 2015 to accommodate the need for more space.  Halls 9-17 will not only allow Prowein to increase the show further with more exhibitors, but it will also give suppliers the chance to build stands up to six metres tall rather than the currently permitted four metres. Prowein organisers said: "Overall space offered by Halls 9 to 17 exceeds that of Halls 1 to 7.1 - making us more flexible and better able to meet the needs, especially of our long-term exhibitors. Since occupancy at the exhibition centre is planned years in advance a short-term change was not possible in 2014."

The 2014 event will also see the return of the Prowein Forum with an expanded seminar and debate programme.
