New speakers have been added to the impressive line-up of panellists for the renamed Digital Wine Communications Conference (DWCC), formerly knon as the EWBC, which is to be held in Rioja, Spain, between October 25- 27.

The DWCC is dedicated to helping the wine sector look at how best to make the most of digital, online communications opportunities. New speakers include Andrew Quady, a winery co-owner from California, Txaber Allué, Spanish chef, blogger and TV personality, Judith Lewis, a specialist in online marketing focused on SEO and social media, Tyler Colman, a US-based wine writer and educator and is the face behind the wine blog DrVino.com, and David White, the founder of Terroirist.com (named Best Overall Wine Blog at the 2013 Wine Blog Awards in the US).

They join already announced speakers including Julia Harding MW, Dr José Vouillamoz, Doug Frost MS MW, Tim Hanni MW, Robert Joseph, Justin Howard-Sneyd and Jesús Barquín.

The theme of this Year's DWCC will be 'Flavours', which coincides with the many tastings that will be held throughout the three day event, focusing on Riojan wines, but also wines from around the world.

Rioja was the site of the first EWBC six years ago and this year Ryan and Gabriella Opaz and Robert McIntosh, the organisers of the event, from social media consultancy, Vrazon, felt  it was time to return to where the conference started.

The 2013 conference is sponsored be the Consejo Regulador de la Denominación de Origen Calificada Rioja*, in partnership with Catavino.net, a site dedicated to Iberian food and wine culture. For the full list of speakers and seminars and events programme go to www.dw.co.
